Since the non-invasive treatment is truly personalized with Ultherapy PRIME®, it’s best to schedule a consultation, during which your practitioner will assess your skin, address your concerns, and will define an optimal treatment plan based on your own specific needs.
During Treatment
After cleansing the skin and identifying the areas to be treated, your Ultherapy® practitioner will apply ultrasound gel and place a smooth treatment applicator against your skin.
Your practitioner will then use Ultherapy PRIME® unique real-time imaging to assess your skin to precisely deliver energy in your collagen-rich layers.1, 9, 10
During treatment, you may feel the sensation of heat and/or tingling while the energy is being delivered, indicating that the collagen-building process has been initiated. Comfort levels can vary from person to person, as does length of treatment, per individual treatment plan. Ask your practitioner about your customized plan.
After Treatment
Nonsurgical Ultherapy PRIME® is a safe and effective treatment for all skin tones. There is no downtime, so you can resume your normal activities immediately after the treatment, following the instructions of your practitioner.
Your skin might appear flushed at first, but the redness should disappear within a few hours. Some patients experience slight swelling, tingling, or tenderness to the touch, but these are mild and temporary in nature. Your practitioner will be able to inform you about other less common post-procedural effects as needed.

How is this treatment different from other procedures?
Ultherapy is the only non-invasive skin lifting treatment with real-time ultrasound imaging that allows practitioners to assess your skin and deliver a truly personalized treatment with long-lasting, meaningful results. Ultherapy also uses time-tested ultrasound technology to stimulate the formation of new collagen deep below the skin’s surface. The treatment takes about 30 to 90 minutes, depending on the area treated, and without any downtime.
How long do the results last?
Most patients see meaningful results after just one session. Since your treatment stimulates your body’s own collagen production, the results may vary. You may see some initial lift, but the ultimate results will take place over two to three months as the growth of new collagen and elastin develops.
